As 2022 ends and 2023 begins, there is so much to process regarding our continued involvement, support and assistance to the refugees fleeing Ukraine. It is hard to believe that 10 months have elapsed since our first trip to Poland was organized and here, we are in yet a new phase of this project. I am forever grateful to all of you who have supported us and continue to do so in the coming months.
With the creation of the Detroit Community Partnership for Ukraine in November which brings together local non-profit organizations we have created a new link to send donations to those in need in Ukraine. This will streamline the process and make it much simpler to donate. The only fees associated with these donations are the cost of having the funds transferred to the foundation other than that 100% of all donations will continue to be used to support the effort.
