There are many benefits of using ParishPay including stabilizing collections and increased giving.
What should I put in the collection basket?
ParishPay understands that the presentation of gifts is an essential component of the liturgical experience. To offer the same reflection process, we provide parishioners donation slips to put into the collection basket, which are tear-off postcard-sized cards to represent that week's gift.

Is there a contract or can I cancel at any time?
There is no contract; parishioners can cancel at any time. Parishioners can log in and delete their gifts or contact their parish to delete them before the 3rd of each month.
If I have a large gift I would like to make as a one-time contribution, can I do that through ParishPay?

Who do you share my gift amount and personal information with?
We will not disclose sensitive financial information to anyone, except as required by law. Administrators of your parish do not have access to credit card or bank account information, but can view personal information and your gift history.
Can I manage my account online?
Yes, accounts are easily managed online. Simply login at the top of any page of the ParishPay website and manage your account. Once logged in, parishioners will have the option of altering their gift, adding additional gifts or collections, and deleting their account.
Is my information stored securely?
ParishPay employs state-of-the-art 128-bit encryption to securely record and store data. Our equipment is constantly updated with the latest security features. Critical credit card and bank account data is encrypted as it is entered, and then never viewable to church staff or anyone else accessing a customer account or church record. ParishPay’s staff also undergoes rigorous background checks. ParishPay’s security procedures have been reviewed by the Fraud Prevention Teams from the major credit card provider networks and their resulting approval of our policies and procedures, coupled with our proven track record, are major factors in the very low credit card rates that we are able to pass on to our customers. In addition, ParishPay maintains a $1 million per incident fraud insurance policy as an additional layer of protection for our users.
How much does this service cost me?
ParishPay withholds its fee before transferring a gift to the parish. For tax purposes, the parishioner is still credited with 100% of the donation. Thus, the parish is technically "charged," not the parishioner.
Can I change the amount or the date of my gift?
Changing your gift amount can easily be done online through your personal account. Once you update your gift you will have the option to select a new date and or amount which you would like to change.
Can my contributions be made weekly?
We offer the option of a monthly or bi-monthly giving options and a one-time gift option.
How will you remind me that my gift is coming out of my account?
ParishPay will send you an email reminder 5 days in advance of the date your gift is transacted.
What if my credit card expires?
Several months in advance of a credit card expiring, we will start reminding you to update your credit card information on file. After it expires, you will receive notifications that your gift was unable to be processed.
What payment methods do you accept?
Parishioners can donate using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. They can also contribute through bank transfers. Currently, 56% of parishioners use bank transfers and 44% of parishioners use credit cards.
What day do funds from my account get debited?
Gifts will be collected on the 5th and/or 20th of each month.
Will I receive an annual statement that substantiates my charitable donations to my parish?
ParishPay emails parishioners a chartable substantiation statement in January each year. Additionally, ParishPay will mail a hard copy of the statement at no additional cost upon request.
