Catechists at St. Clare

Catechists are volunteers willing to share their gift of faith with children or adults. Our mission is to bring God to people and people to God. Our vision is to have all of the children and adults of St. Clare Parish in love with Jesus. We welcome those who love to work with children or adults, have a strong knowledge of his/her own faith, and participates in the activities of the Church. A catechist must be at least a sophomore in high school and have a willingness to take catechetical classes, have
completed a Protecting God’s Children class and a background check through the State of Michigan.
- Religious Education for Children meets from September through May.
- Sunday Family meets after 9AM Mass from 10:00 AM –11:30 AM.
Catechetical classes are available through the Archdiocese to those who wish to teach
