Athletic Committee
The Athletic Committee meets the
first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
in the Gym.
Fall Sports for all incoming 5,6,7 and 8
grade boys and girls will begin the week of August 13,
2007. St. Clare will once again offer the following
Fall sports:
Boys 4,5,6 Soccer
Boys 7,8 Soccer
Girls 4,5,6 Soccer
Girls 5,6 Volleyball
Girls 7,8 Volleyball
All eligible boys and girls (St. Clare
school students as well as St. Clare, St. Ambrose and
St. Philomena Religious Ed students may participate.)
I am pleased to report that Phase III of
the gymnasium renovations has begun. Previously, the
Athletic Committee, under the direction of Vern Moore,
has resurfaced and painted the entire gym floor.
Replaced all six basketball backboards. Updated the
locker room and hallway with carpet and fresh paint
Phase III entails deep cleaning and
painting of the entire gymnasium with completion slated
for the end of July. The Athletic Committee would not
be able to undertake these much needed projects without
the help of so many. In particular, I would like to
thank the Donald Rentz family, John Fikany and Michael
Barrett for their support of Phase III.
