St. Clare C.R.E.W.
Christian's Recognizing Everyone's
Worth
Saint Clare has an active High School Youth Group. We
would like to invite you to become a
member. The Youth Group is formed by the in the parish.
Students from Public and Catholic high schools gather
together to discuss their needs, concerns and faith
issues.
The program for the youth group is developed by a council
of teens and adults. The council creates activities, discussion subjects and
service projects for the group. This whole program is designed to offer
students and opportunity to learn their faith and practice their faith
through education, community service, prayer and social events. Because our
faith life does not end when the school year does, youth group will meet
year round.
Great care has been taken to enhance this program so that we can better
pass on our faith tradition to our youth. This program depends on your
support. Please encourage your student to attend our Sunday sessions. We
meet in the C.R.E.W. Room (located in St. Clare School, Mack Avenue at East
Outer Drive) from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
If you would like additional information, please call our office at (313)

What some young people have said:
"My whole life is different
because of this youth group. I'm so aware of my spirituality. The Youth
Group accepted me when I didn't know what was going on in my life;"
"I've met so many people my age that
share the same desire to be an active part of the Catholic Church of today.
Because of this I know our Youth Group can make a difference in our community
and it does."
"We don't just sit around, listen to music
and talk. That's not what this ministry is about. It's about challenging
ourselves to be the best we can be; the way Christ showed us it can be."
What you are joining - CREW:

who together build an enjoyable and supportive community based on Gospel

Special events and trips for good times
and new experiences and outreach to people in need; the planning is done by
the young people; the coaching, by caring adults. |
